Dr. Lorraine Ruocco, is a clinical psychologist, specializing in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She supports individuals facing developmental, psychological, learning, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Dr. Ruocco has extensive training in both assessment and therapy, which enables her to bring her clinical skills to support students during the testing process.
Dr. Ruocco engages families in a supportive process in order to help them understand their child's unique profile. Using a strengths-based perspective, she works collaboratively with families to identify individualized strategies appropriate to their child's areas of strength and need.
Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Ruocco worked to support students in a variety of settings, including those in independent schools, public schools, and child support organizations.
Dr. Ruocco earned a B.A. in Psychology from Assumption College, and both a Master's degree and a doctoral degree from William James College in Newton, MA. She has received pre- and post- doctoral training in child-focused mental health centers and in private neuropsychological assessment practices.
In her free time, Dr. Ruocco enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her family.
