Dr. Shapiro is a licensed psychologist and a nationally certified school psychologist with extensive experience with assessment and evaluation. She has worked in private practice, clinics, and schools to provide caring and comprehensive assessment to students with neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning disabilities, autism, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
As a former clinical director of a therapeutic day school, Dr. Shapiro brings her strong leadership and supervisory skills to Sage Neuropsych. Additionally, she has supported children and families with diverse social, emotional, and behavioral challenges; making her a strong, insightful, and sensitive clinician.
Dr. Shapiro earned her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her APA doctoral internship at Andrus Children's Center and postdoctoral fellowship at Salem Hospital/Mass General Brigham.
